The Flash and Arrow Midseason Finales Get Extended Trailers

Check out extended trailers for this week’s midseason finales of both The Flash and Arrow

Following regular versions last week, The CW has released a pair of extended trailers for the midseason finales of both  The Flash and Arrow. Check out both extended trailers in the players below!

Titled “Running to Stand Still,” The Flash Episode 2×09 episode is officially described as follows:

“When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse AKA The Trickster (guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe and Iris meet Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).”

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. The new season sees the addition of newcomers Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot, Violett Beane as Jesse Quick, Demore Barnes as Tokamak, and Candyman himself Tony Todd as the voice of the new “big bad,” Zoom.

“Running to Stand Still” is set to air this Tuesday, December 8 at 8 P.M. EST on The CW. 

Titled “Dark Waters,” Arrow episode 4×09 is officially described as follows: 

“After the city is attacked again, Oliver makes a bold move against HIVE. Malcolm checks in on Thea and leaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver’s mayoral holiday party.”

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Katie Cassidy as Dinah “Laurel” Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.

“Dark Waters” will premiere this Wednesday, December 9 at 8:00pm ET/PT on The CW.
